The phone number is 517-372-6666. RAINN - the Rape and Incest National Network. Their phone number is 1-800-656-HOPE, and they can provide referrals to rape counseling centers in your area. They also include a document aboutwhat you can do if you or a friend is raped. SACC - Washtenaw County's Sexual Assault Crisis Center, located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Their 24-hour crisis line is 734-971-3696. Stop It Now! - resources and information devoted to stopping the sexual abuse of children, including warning signs of an abused child and a child abuse fact sheet . Anyone tempted to abuse a child should call their toll-free number, 1-888-PREVENT for help. Turning Point - another 24-hour crisis line and shelter, this one located in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Their number is 810-463-6990. Advocate Web - a nonprofit organization which provides resources and information regarding the sexual exploitation of clients by professionals. Arizona Rape Prevention Education Project - "The ARPEP Web site is designed to share rape statistics and sexual assault statistics, evaluation, and research." CAVNET - Communities Against Violence Network. Includes an international Resource List indexed by country or state. Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence - from their website: "Our goal is to engage religious leaders in the task of ending abuse, and to prepare human services professionals to recognize and attend to the religious questions and issues that may arise in their work with women and children in crisis." Cybertipline - Cybertipline handles leads from individuals reporting the sexual exploitation of children. Includes aform where online child abuse and pornography can be reported. Equality Now - an international human rights organization dedicated to action for the civil, political, economic and social rights of girls and women. Making Daughters Safe Again - focuses on Mother-Daughter sexual abuse. Men Can Stop Rape - an organization devoted to changing men's attitudes and behaviors in order to stop rape. The site includes a number of free publications on what every man can do to make a difference.
