Capital Area United Way

Community Mental Health (CMH) - offers a variety of counseling and mental health services, including a 24-hour crisis line at 517-372-8460 or 800-372-8460.

Cristo Rey - a multicultural agency that provides intervention for short term emergency crisis, long term supportive services, and educational programs to meet the needs of the community, particularly North Lansing.

East Lansing - the website for the city of East Lansing.

Ele's Place - provides free group support services for grieving children and their families.

Gateway Community Services - "a nonprofit agency established in 1970 that provides a comprehensive range of services to children, adolescents, and families in crisis in the Greater Lansing Area and throughout Michigan."

Highfields, Inc. - "a charitable organization providing Family Opportunities, Youth Opportunities and Learning Opportunities for families, youth and communities throughout mid-Michigan."

LAAN - the Lansing Area AIDS Network, "Dedicated to the delivery of services and programs designed to meet the needs of those living with HIV/AIDS and to prevent the further spread of the virus."

Michigan Protection & Advocacy Services (MPAS) - "We try to answer any questions you may have relating to disability. We have experience in the following areas: discrimination in education, employment, housing, and public places; abuse and neglect; Social Security benefits; Medicaid, Medicare and other insurance; housing; Vocational Rehabilitation; HIV/AIDS issues; and many other disability-related topics."

MSU Counseling Center - "The Counseling Center's purpose is to provide support for the University's academic goals by assisting in decreasing student and faculty/staff stress, aiding the effort to provide a healthy environment, [and] helping students focus on personal and career goals."

MSU Psychological Clinic - located on the campus of MSU, the Clinic provides a wide range of services to the general public.
